Eat it with apple slices, or carrot sticks, for a snack, or use it as you would your favorite almond or peanut butter. You can have some ready to eat in under 15 minutes, and its taste gets even better after a day or two in the fridge.

2 cups of walnut pieces
1/8 tsp of fine sea salt
4 tsp of walnut oil

  1. Place nuts into a food processor that has been fitted with a steel blade. Grind the mixture (scraping it down as needed), for 2-3 minutes, or until it resembles a pasty flour that sticks together when you pinch it.
  2. Add the salt.
  3. While processing, gradually add in the oil. Continue to process until the walnuts bind together to form walnut butter.
  4. Store in a closed container in the refrigerator.
